WE WON'T MOVE! The story of the International Hotel on Kearny Street, is a heartbreaking reality for the fight for housing rights and gentrification in the Bay Area, and a reminder of the sacrifices our elders made for our rights. These earrings depict two scenes: The daytime, where the tenants of the I-hotel (mostly elderly Filipino and Chinese men) sit outside of the I-hotel, and the night time when the riots of the I-hotel began, and its elderly tenants were eventually pushed out.
