STOCKTON

$35.00 - $38.00 - Coming soon

El Dorado St. in Stockton California was the center of the largest population of Filipinos outside of the Philippines during the 30's and 40's. It was the very first Little Manila in the US, where Filipinos had their own shops, organizations, dance halls, and thriving community. From Carlos Bulosan, to Dawn Mabalon, Stockton bred and continues to breed some of the most influential Filipino American scholars of our time.

This piece is designed in Gold mirrored acrylic (for El Dorado) and transparent.

This piece was designed in collaboration with UK artist Tayler Pineda (@byTPPJ) and will come with a story book written and designed in collaboration with Anne Fard (@shakerszstories) to tell the history behind the piece.

Please check our FAHM 2020 page for more information and resources to find out more about the story of Little Manila, as well as information on where we'll be donating proceeds from this piece.

All pieces come in hooks for pierced, clasps for stretched ears, as well as clip ons for non pierced ears.

All of our findings are hypoallergenic gold plated brass, nickel free, and made in the US.
